I've got a bone to pick with the internet masses, or at least those who are discussing the new dragonborn race in 4th Edition D&D

If you don't know what I'm talking about, shame on you. Our DM has asked us when we'd like to switch over to 4 Ed. I said right away, because I'm getting very excited about the Dragonborn Warlord I intend to play. The only reason I'm trying out this new class is because the removed the option to play a sorcerer(those bastards...). At first I dismissed the Warlord class straight away, until I found that the dragonborn's favoured class is the warlord. Once I'd read a bit more, I was quite enamoured with the idea of a mix between combat, healing, and support. Plus you get to play a strong, tough, militaristic character who can order people around.

But while I was looking around for information about the dragonborn race, of which there is scarcely any, and I found some interesting and upsetting discussions. First of all was the debate on whether or not female dragonborn should have breasts or not. I really do think they should. Simply because they look good and give the female dragonborn that element of femininity. Then again...I only really think aesthetically.

There was also a lot of discussion about how 'ugly' the dragonborn race is, and how people think its an unessessary addition to the playable races. I hold quite the opposite view. I think its fantastic there is an accessible dragon-themed race. I've been wanting to play one for a looong time, but never had the skills or the energy to figure out the half-dragon template. I do think that its a shame that they dont have tails or wings, but i can live with that. I think its about time a play a big & tough female character, rather than thin and pretty with useless abilities. This new race is perfect for just that.
